Accepting these terms

By downloading or playing Bloxxit you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who can play

Bloxxit is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. You may only create an account if you are 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use Bloxxit only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Your account

You can play without an account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, you are responsible for keeping that provider account secure. Tell us at hello@oppytech.com if you believe someone else is using your Bloxxit account.

Your display name

Your display name is visible to other players. Do not use a name that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, impersonates someone else, or that you do not have the right to use. We may change or remove a name that breaks this rule, and repeat offences may cost you your account.

Fair play

Bloxxit is a scoring game, and scores only mean something if they are real. You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer or tamper with the app or its network traffic to alter scores, streaks or match results.
• Use bots, scripts, emulated input or any automated means to play.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards or head-to-head records.
• Interfere with the service, other players, or our infrastructure.

Removing scores and accounts

We may remove scores, reset streaks, take a player off a leaderboard, or suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken. Where it is practical and lawful, we will tell you why, and you can appeal to hello@oppytech.com.

What we own

Bloxxit, including the name, logo, artwork, themes and the game itself, belongs to Oppy LLC. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial enjoyment. Everything not expressly granted is reserved.

Price and changes

Bloxxit is free to play, with no advertising and no in-app purchases. If that ever changes, we will tell you in the app before the change applies, and nothing you have already paid for would be taken away.

Availability

We work to keep Bloxxit running, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may stop offering the service altogether. If we shut it down, we will give reasonable notice in the app where we can.

Disclaimer

Bloxxit is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oppy LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, scores, streaks or leaderboard position. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months, or twenty five US dollars.

Ending this agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting the app, and you can delete your account and data using the instructions on our data deletion page. We may end this agreement if you materially break these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.
