Delete your account and data

Two ways to do it. Both remove the same information.

You can delete your Bloxxit account and the data attached to it at any time, without contacting us first. Deletion is permanent — scores, best score, streak and head-to-head history cannot be restored afterwards.

Option 1 — in the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

Open Bloxxit and tap your avatar in the top right.
In Settings, scroll to your account and choose Delete account.
Confirm. Your account is closed and queued for deletion straight away.

Option 2 — by email

Use Option 1 if you can - it is instant and it proves the account is yours. If you cannot reach the app, write to hello@oppytech.com with the subject "Delete my account" and include your display name and friend code, which you will find in Settings. Because we hold no email address for you, we cannot match a request to an account any other way, and we may not be able to act on one that leaves those out. We will confirm once it is done, and we will not ask you for a reason.

What gets deleted

Within 30 days of your request we permanently remove:

Your account, and the opaque provider identifier we received from Google or Apple.
Your display name.
Your scores, best score, streak, games played and daily challenge progress.
Your head-to-head match history and any game codes tied to your account.
The device identifiers associated with your account.

What we may keep

We keep only what we have to, and none of it identifies you as a player:

Aggregated, anonymised statistics that cannot be traced back to you.
Records we must retain to meet a legal, tax or security obligation, kept no longer than the law requires.
Nothing else. We hold no email address, no crash diagnostics and no analytics, so there is nothing further to expire.

How long it takes

Your account stops working immediately. Personal data is removed from live systems within 30 days, and from encrypted backups within 90 days as those backups age out on their normal cycle.

Other requests

If you would rather export a copy of your data, correct something, or ask what we hold about you, write to the same address and we will respond within the time your local law requires.

Never signed in? Then there is nothing on our servers to delete. Your progress lives only on your device, and deleting the app removes it.
