Privacy policy

Bloxxit is made by Oppy LLC. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your personal information and we do not show ads.

Who we are

Bloxxit is operated by Oppy LLC ("we", "us"), a company registered in the United States. For any question about this policy or your data, contact hello@oppytech.com.

What we collect

We collect only what the game needs to work and to keep your progress safe:

Account information. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we receive an opaque account identifier from that provider, and nothing else. We do not receive or store your email address, your name from that provider, your profile photo, or your password.
Display name. The name you set in Settings, which is shown to other players on leaderboards and in head-to-head results.
Gameplay data. Scores, best score, streaks, games played, daily challenge progress, head-to-head match results, and the game codes you create or join.
Device identifier. A generated identifier used to associate progress with your installation when you have not signed in.
Device identifiers are the only technical data we hold. We do not operate crash reporting or analytics, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your email address, your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or camera data. We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not serve ads, we run no analytics or crash reporting, and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

Run the game — save your progress, keep your streak, and place you on leaderboards.
Make head-to-head matches work, which means showing your display name and score to the player you are matched with.
Keep scores honest by detecting manipulated or implausible results.
Respond to you when you contact support.

Playing without an account

You can play Bloxxit without signing in. In that case your scores, streak, settings and first-run state are kept on your device and are associated with a device identifier rather than an account. If you never sign in, we hold nothing about you on our servers at all.

Who we share it with

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, and only for that purpose:

Google and Apple, when you use their sign-in services to authenticate.
Our hosting and database provider, which stores accounts, scores and match records.
Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to do so.

What other players can see

Your display name, score, streak and games-played count are visible to other players on global and friends leaderboards and in head-to-head records. We have no email address to show. If you would rather not be identifiable, change your display name in Settings.

How long we keep it

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep records to meet a legal obligation. Aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be kept indefinitely.

Your choices and rights

You can change or clear your display name at any time in Settings, sign out to stop syncing to your account, or delete your account and its data. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, port or delete your personal information, and to appeal a decision we make about such a request. Write to hello@oppytech.com and we will respond within the time your local law requires.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, which here is limited to a display name and game scores.

Children

Bloxxit is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact hello@oppytech.com and we will delete it.

International users

We operate from the United States and process data there. If you use Bloxxit from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to play after that point means you accept the updated policy.
